Spending hour upon hour exploring all of the shops in the mall to ferret out the perfect gifts for everyone on your shopping list, taking the gifts home and hiding them or quickly wrapping them with bright paper and sneaking them under to tree, family gatherings that center around tables piled high with favorite holiday dishes; these are just a few of the many activities and traditions that people partake in that help make the Christmas holidays more special and memorable.
